Curriculum statement

At Doc’s Early Learning & Daycare, it is our belief that every child has the ability and right to establish a positive self-image and become capable global citizens of tomorrow. Our certified-teacher developed curriculum focuses on the five domains of Maryland’s Early Learning Standards: social-emotional development, motor development, languages and literacy, STEAM and early cognition, and approaches to learning. Activities geared towards these domains along with bilingual instruction are utilized to cultivate a love of learning and foster strong relationships with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds. We aim to equip children with a knowledge and understanding of not only academics, but of themselves and others with respect to their communities, states, and countries at large. We believe that early exposure to international subject matter as well as self recognition and coping skills set the foundation for empowerment and a successful path in life.
